## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

FROM THE PILOT'S STATEMENT: "THERE WAS A CROSSWIND UPON APPROACH BUT NOTHING WHICH SEEMED UNUSUALLY DANGEROUS. AFTER TOUCHDOWN AND ON ROLL OUT THE PLANE VEERED TO THE LEFT ALLOWING THE LEFT MAIN WHEEL TO ENTER THE SOFT DIRT OR SAND WHICH CAUSED THE PLANE TO YAW LEFT ONTO THE DIRT. THE NOSE WHEEL AND RIGHT MAIN CAUSED THE PLANE TO STOP SOMEWHAT ABRUPTLY INJURING THE PROP AND RIGHT WING TIP. UPON REFLECTION OF THE EVENT, I INITIALLY THOUGHT THAT IT WAS A BRAKE ISSUE OR RUDDER MALFUNCTION BUT THIS MORNING I MET WITH THE MECHANIC AND HE CHECKED THE BRAKES AND FOUND NO ISSUES. I NOW WONDER IF IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN A WIND GUST OR MICRO BURST FROM THE RAIN SHOWERS NORTH OF THE FIELD."
