## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AS STATED BY THE PILOT,ON FINAL AT TWIN OAKS, I PUT MY FLAPS DOWN AND SLOWED DOWN TO 85 MPH INDICATED

AIRSPEED. FLAIRED AND DEPLOYED MY SPEED BRAKES PUTTING MY WHEELS ON THE RUNWAY WITHIN 150 FEET PAST THE NUMBERS. WITH WHEELS ON THE RUNWAY, I RETRACTED MY

FLAPS. THE AIRCRAFT STARTED VEERING TO THE RIGHT MEANING MY LEFT WHEEL WAS NOT BRAKING EFFECTIVELY.

I CONTINUED USING MAXIMUM PRESSURE ON THE LEFT BRAKE AND LIMITED PRESSURE ON THE RIGHT BRAKE TO KEEP THE AIRCRAFT FROM RUNNING OFF THE RUNWAY TO THE RIGHT AS THERE WERE MULTIPLE AIRCRAFT PARKED TO THE RIGHT OF THE RUNWAY. I CONTINUED TRYING TO GET THE AIRCRAFT STOPPED. I ESTIMATE THAT I WAS TRAVELING LESS THAN 10 MPH WHEN I WENT OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THE END OF THE RUNWAY HAD TWO FAINT BLACK SKID MARKS WHERE MAIN TIRES WERE CONTACTING THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
