## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON LANDING ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, A LSA, AT BOWMAN FIELD (LOU) ON RWY 6 ON 8/1/2023, AT AROUND 1210 EDT, THE PILOT EXPERIENCED A FLAT TIRE AND LOST THE ABILITY TO STEER THE AIRCRAFT STRAIGHT, CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO VEER ONTO THE GRASS TO THE RIGHT OF THE RUNWAY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES, NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND NO DAMAGE TO AIRPORT PROPERTY. THE PILOT CORRECTLY HANDLED THE FLAT TIRE EVENT, SO COMPLIANCE ACTION IS NOT REQUIRED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
