## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 3, 2023, AT APPROXIMATELY 0635 EST, THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED CENTRAL FLORIDA TO RELOCATE THE AIRCRAFT TO ALABAMA. THE FLIGHT WAS 442 STATUTE MILES WITH THREE FUEL STOPS ALONG THE INTENDED ROUTE. AT APPROXIMATELY 13:15 CST THE PILOT STATED THE ENGINE BEGAN TO MISFIRE. THE PILOT OBSERVED THE CLEAR FUEL FILTER AND FUEL SIGHT GAGE APPEARING EMPTY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROXIMATELY 9 MILES FROM THE INTENDED DESTINATION AND MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING IN A FIELD. DURING THE LANDING THE LANDING GEAR WAS DAMAGED DUE TO THE ROUGH FIELD CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO FLIP IN ITS BACK CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. POST ACCIDENT EXAMINATION INDICATED NO FUEL IN THE FUEL TANK.
