## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 4, 2023, 1125 HRS, AT EASTSOUND AIRPORT (KORS), BEECHCRAFT A-35, LANDING GEAR DID NOT EXTEND WHEN PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) ATTEMPTED TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR. FOLLOWING SEVERAL UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPTS TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR, PIC PERFORMED THE EMERGENCY PROCEDURE TO LOWER THE GEAR. THE PROCEDURE LOWERED THE LANDING GEAR SUCCESSFULLY WITH PROPER GEAR INDICATIONS.

AT 1146 HRS, ON LANDING ROLLOUT AT EASTSOUND AIRPORT (KORS), THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. THE RIGHT GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE RIGHT WING CONTACTED THE RUNWAY. THE LEFT GEAR AND NOSEWHEEL THEN COLLAPSED AND THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED ABOUT 90 DEGREES TO THE RIGHT THEN CAME TO A STOP. THE 3 PERSONS ON BOARD EXITED THE AIRCRAFT WITH NO INJURIES. KORS AIRPORT OPERATIONS AND THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDED QUICKLY , SECURING THE AIRCRAFT, AND CLEARING THE RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, UNDERCARRIAGE, LANDING GEAR DOORS, FLAPS, AND WING SKINS. WX DATA: KORS 041835Z AUTO 36004KT 10SM CLR 19/14 A3014 RMK AO2.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
