## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT HAD BEEN FLYING IN THE AIRPORT TRAFFIC PARTERN FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT. AFTER SEVERAL TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS AT THE AIRPORT, THIS LAST TAKEOFF RESULTED IN A STEEP DECENT AND CRASH INTO A TAXIWAY.

THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP IN A FIELD ON THE AIRPORT. FIRE DEPARTMENT AND LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT RESPONDED TO THE SCENE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN23FA352](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN23FA352), Aug 7, 2023: Cessna 150 (N5610E), Caddo Mills, TX, destroyed, 1 fatal. Probable cause: The pilot’s loss of airplane control during an attempted forced landing following a loss of engine power.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
