## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT ATTEMPTED A LANDING IN THE YENTNA RIVER NEAR THE MOUTH OF FISH CREEK HEADING UPSTREAM CLOSE TO MID-DAY. THE LEFT FLOAT IMPACTED A SUBMERGED SAND / GRAVEL BAR IN THE SHALLOW PART OF THE RIVER AFTER COMING OFF STEP IN THE LANDING. THE IMPACT CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO FLIP NOSE OVER AND THE LEFT FORWARD FLOAT SUPPORT STRUT TO SNAP. ONE BLADE OF THE PROPELLER SUSTAINED DAMAGE ALONG WITH THE RIGHT WING FROM THE LIFT STRUT OUT TO THE WING TIP.
