## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 24, 2023, AT APPROXIMATELY 1644 LCL WHILE ON APPROACH TO KPDK AIRPORT, ATLANTA, GA, AT 4,000', HIT A LARGE BIRD. AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO A SAFE LANDING WITH NO INJURY TO PASSENGERS OR CREW BUT REPORTED DAMAGE TO LEFT WING ROOT AND POSSIBLY TO ENGINE INLET. SUBSEQUENT PHOTOS, TECH SERVICES REPORT, AND WORK ORDER DETERMINED DAMAGE TO BE MINOR. A FERRY PERMIT WAS OBTAINED FOR RELOCATION FOR REPAIRS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
