## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUG 27, 2023, AT APPROXIMATELY 2239 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME(CDT) A BEECHCRAFT CORP, MODEL B300, REPORTED A BIRD STRIKE ON APPROACH TO TOPEKA, KANSAS (FOE). AT APPROXIMATELY 3000 FEET, CREW ENCOUNTERED A FLOCK OF APPROXIMATELY THREE (3) TO FOUR (4) BIRDS. CREW LANDED AND TAXIED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT SUFFERED IMPACT DAMAGE TO THREE (3) LOCATIONS. THE RIGHT-HAND AVIONICS NOSE DOOR, NUMBER (2) PROPELLER DEICE BOOT AND NUMBER TWO (2) SPINNER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
