## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT REPORTED AIRCRAFT DIDN'T FEEL RIGHT SO HE LANDED IN A FIELD 1.65 MILES OFF THE END OF KGLD AIRPORT RATHER THAN RETURNING TO BASE. PILOT REPORTED THE ENGINE WAS STILL MAKING POWER BUT JUST DIDN'T FEEL RIGHT.

08/31/2023 PILOT^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DISCOVERED DEBRIS IN THE AIRCRAFT FUEL TANKS THAT APPEARED TO BE DELAMINATING SEALER PRODUCT FROM WITHIN THE FUEL CELL. DEBRIS WAS FOUND SUSPENDED IN THE FUEL IN THE SUMP AREA CLOSE TO THE ENGINE FUEL LINE PICKUP IN SUFFICIENT AMOUNT TO RESULT IN PARTIAL OR FULL FUEL STARVATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
