## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 26 SEPTEMBER 2023 THE AIRCRAFT WAS INBOUND FOR KSUS FROM THE SOUTHWEST APPROXIMATELY 4 MILES OUT AT 1500 MSL AND 110 KNOTS ON A DIRECT ROUTE. THE AIRCRAFT WAS STRUCK THROUGH THE FRONT WINDSCREEN BY A LARGE BIRD ON THE RH SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT HAD A LARGE HOLE IN THE RIGHT TOP PORTION OF THE WIND SCREEN AND THE RIGHT “ROOF” SECTION OF THE WIND SCREEN. PIECES OF PLEXIGLASS WERE IN THE FRONT AND BACK OF AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT PROCEEDED TOWARD THE FIELD AND CONTINUED INBOUND BETWEEN THE PARALLEL RUNWAYS TO THE “POLICE PAD” WITHOUT ANY FURTHER INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
