## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

30 SEPTEMBER APPROXIMANTLEY 1000 CST. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ MADE HARD LANDING ON AT 51AR DURING THE ARKANSTOL EVENT. AFTER CLEARING THE PYLONS AT A VERY SLOW SPEED FOR THE (STOL) SHORT TAKE OFF AND LANDING COMPETITION, THE AIRCRAFT WAS PUT INTO VERY HARD SLIP IN THE ATTEMPT TO LAND AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE, WITHOUT ADDING ANY POWER THE AIRCRAFT DROPPED AND HAD A HARD LANDING WHICH CAUSED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. ONE SOUL ON BOARD NO INJURIES

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
