## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 6 WHEN THE AIRCRAFT NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE BECAUSE OF THE NOSE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSE. THE PILOT STATED: “AS I PREPARED FOR LANDING, I REALIZED I WAS COMING IN SLIGHTLY HIGH AND INADVERTENTLY FLARED TOO EARLY. THIS MISCALCULATION RESULTED IN THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCING TWICE UPON TOUCHDOWN, LEADING TO THE COLLAPSE OF THE FRONT LANDING GEAR.” GROUND SCARRING ON THE RUNWAY SHOWED SEVERAL PROPELLER STRIKES FOLLOWED BY NOSEWHEEL TOUCHDOWN, THEN HEAVY SCRAPING FORM THE COLLAPSE OF THE NOSE GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO STOP ON THE RUNWAY WITH MINOR DAMAGE TO THE FORWARD BELLY SKIN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
