## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRMAN WAS PLANNING TO DO A TOUCH AND GO, CIRCLE AROUND, THEN LAND. THE WIND WAS ALMOST A DIRECT CROSSWIND WITH GUSTS. UPON FEELING THE MAIN WHEELS TOUCH THE GROUND, THE AIRMAN ADDED FULL POWER AND ESTABLISHED A CLIMB. APPROXIMATELY 20'-30' ABOVE THE RUNWAY, THE AIRMAN STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS HIT FROM THE LEFT BY A WIND GUST. HE WAS UNABLE TO CORRECT AND WAS BLOWN INTO THE TREES ADJACENT TO THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT ENDED UP NOSE DOWN AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE WITH ONLY THE RIGHT WINGTIP CONTACTING THE GROUND. THERE WERE NO INJURIES.
