WITH NO ABILITY TO STEER TO THE LEFT THE AIRCRAFT STARTED A GRADUAL RIGHT TURN TOWARD THE EDGE OF THE RUNWAY. THE PIC APPLIED FULL REVERSE TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT AND JUST AS IT WAS COMING TO A STOP ON THE RIGHT-SIDE RUNWAY EDGE THE NOSE WHEEL ROLLED OVER A SLIGHT EMBANKMENT AND AIRCRAFT SLOWLY ROLLED DOWN OFF THE RUNWAY INTO AN DITCH CAUSING THE PROPELLER TIPS THE ENGAGE WITH THE GRASS AND GROUND WHICH SLIGHTLY ROLLED THE TIPS OF THE PROPELLER BLADES. ENGINE WAS SHUT DOWN AND PASSENGERS WERE DEPLANED AND FLIGHT SERVICE WAS NOTIFIED OF DISABLED AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
