## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PART 91, 1979 CESSNA P210N AIRCRAFT REGISTRATION ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, SERIAL NUMBER P21000259, NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AFTER LANDING AT WHITHAM FIELD STUART (KSUA) RUNWAY 30. AT TOUCHDOWN, THE GEAR OPERATED NORMALLY AND HELD STRAIGHT DOWN THE RUNWAY. PER PILOT STATEMENT, THE NOSE WHEEL UNEXPECTEDLY BEGAN SHIMMING AND PULLING THE AIRCRAFT TO THE LEFT AND THE NOSE WHEEL SUBSEQUENTLY COLLAPSED. DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED TO THE ENGINE, PROPELLER, AND NOSE LANDING GEAR DOORS, AND MINOR DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT BELLY PANELS. NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT, THE SOLE OCCUPANT OF THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
