## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT AND ONE PASSENGER DEPARTED IN AN EXPERIMENTAL AMPHIBIOUS GEAR EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT FROM ONEONTA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (N66). AIRCRAFT FLEW 0.5 HOURS AND EXPERIENCED AIRCRAFT VIBRATION AND LOSS OF POWER IN FLIGHT. AIRCRAFT MADE A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING APPROXIMATELY 6.88 NAUTICAL MILES NNE OF THE AIRPORT ON AN EMPTY FIELD LOCATED IN THE VILLAGE OF MILFORD, NY. DURING LANDING PROCEDURE, LANDING GEAR WAS LEFT UP (AS STATED IN EMERGENCY PROCEDURES). AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT HULL/BELLY. PILOT AND PASSENGER WERE UNINJURED DURING EVENT. AFTER A POST FLIGHT INSPECTION, PILOT DISCOVERED ONE OF THE THREE PROPELLER BLADES WAS MISSING AND THE OTHER TWO BLADES SUSTAINED BLADE TIP DAMAGE. NO OTHER DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT WAS FOUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
