## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON OCT 31, 2023, AT APPROXIMATELY 1330 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME A TEXTRON AVIATION, INC., MODEL B300, REPORTED A BIRD STRIKE ON CLIMB OUT OF ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA (KRST). DEPARTING ON RUNWAY THREE (03) CLIMBING THROUGH APPROXIMATELY 3600 – 4000 FEET, CREW ENCOUNTERED A FLOCK OF APPROXIMATELY FIVE (5) TO TEN (10) BIRDS. CREW ADVISED AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL (ATC) OF BIRD STRIKE AND REQUESTED TO RETURN TO ROCHESTER, MN (KRST). CREW LOST AIRSPEED INFORMATION AND AUTOMATIC DEPENDENT SURVEILLANCE (ADS). CREW RETURNED TO AIRPORT, LANDED AND TAXIED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT SUFFERED IMPACT DAMAGE TO THE NOSE CONE, NOSE LANDING GEAR, AND RIGHT PITOT TUBE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
