## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE CONDUCTING TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS, THE PILOT WAS MAKING HIS FIRST APPROACH FOR LANDING UTILIZING A NON-STANDARD APPROACH PROCEDURE HE SAW ON A VIDEO. DURING THE INTERVIEW THE PILOT ADMITTED HE DID NOT USE THE AIRCRAFT BEFORE LANDING CHECKLIST AND THAT HE FORGOT TO PUT THE LANDING GEAR DOWN. HE ALSO NOTED HE DID NOT HEAR THE GEAR WARNING HORN WHEN POWER WAS REDUCED. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH THE LANDING GEAR RETRACTED AND CAME TO REST ON THE RUNWAY. MINOR DAMAGE WAS OBSERVED TO THE PROPELLER AND SKIN ON THE FORWARD BELLY.

POST-INCIDENT FUNCTIONAL CHECKS INDICATED NO DEFECTS FOUND WITH THE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
