## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON NOVEMBER 14TH, AROUND 1PM EST, A LIGHT SPORT AIRCRAFT HAD AN INCIDENT DURING LANDING. THE AIRMAN WAS ON HIS WAY BACK FROM A SOLO CROSS COUNTRY LANDING ON RUNWAY 05 AT MNV WITH WINDS AT 12KTS FROM 030. UPON LANDING, THE WIND PICKED UP THE AIRCRAFT AND FLOPPED IT BACK DOWN CREATING A HARDER THAN NORMAL LANDING BUT NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY FOR THE SMALL PLANE DURING GUSTY CONDITIONS. THE AIRMAN DID NOT HAVE NOSE GEAR STEERING AND VEERED RIGHT. THE AIRMAN APPLIED BRAKES BUT COULD NOT KEEP IT STRAIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP ROUGHLY 100' FROM ITS ORIGINAL TOUCHDOWN POINT OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
