## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON NOVEMBER 27, 2023 AT 1640 CST (2240Z), A CESSNA 150 AIRCRAFT, WENT OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY 16 AT MIDLAND AIRPARK (KMDD). THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING OPERATED ON A VISUAL FLIGHT RULES FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME, AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND THE STUDENT PILOT, WHO WAS THE ONLY OCCUPANT, SUSTAINED NO INJURIES. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM MIDLAND AIRPARK ON NOVEMBER 27, 2023 1610 CST (2210Z).

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
