## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

CREW REPORTED PITCH TRIM FROZE. NORMAL TAKE OFF AND ABOUT 8000 FEET THE AUTOPILOT (AP) PITCH TRIM LIGHT ILLUMINATED, WENT OUT, AND THEN THE AP DISCONNECTED. AT THAT POINT, THEY HAD NO MOVEMENT ON TRIM WHEEL MANUALLY OR ELECTRICALLY. DURING RETURN TO THE AIRPORT THE CREW TRIED SEVERAL TIMES AND DURING THOSE TRIES FELT A CLICKING IN THE SWITCH WHEN TRYING ELECTRICALLY. AT A LOWER ALTITUDE AND AROUND APPROXIMATELY 180KTS. THE TRIM WORKED NORMAL, BUT LOCKED AGAIN ONCE THE FLAPS WERE DOWN FOR APPROACH. THE AICRAFT LANDED SUCCESFULLY, NO DAMAGES NOTED OR REPORTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
