## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

VIDEO OBTAINED FROM THE ZEPHYRHILLS, FL CITY CLERKS OFFICE SHOWING SURVEILLANCE OF THE FUELING FACILITY AT THE ZEPHYRHILLS AIRPORT SHOWS THE ACCIDENT AIRCRAFT CLIMBING ON DEPARTURE, STALLING AND PERFORMING A LEFT WING OVER. THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED THE GROUND OUTSIDE OF THE AIRPORT FENCE ADJACENT TO A ROAD. THERE IS NO CURRENT EVIDENCE OF ANOTHER AIRCRAFT BEING INVOLVED AS VERBALLY REPORTED BY AIRPORT TENNANTS WHO WERE NOT AVAILABLE TO GIVE WITNESS STATEMENTS OR THE ADS-B OUT DATA RECEIVED.

PILOT (INSTRUCTOR) UNABLE TO GIVE STATEMENT DUE TO HIS INJURIES AND INABILITY TO COMMUNICATE. WHEN CONTACTED BY THE NTSB, THE STUDENT COULD NOT REMEMBER AND DESIRED NOT TO GIVE A STATEMENT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA24LA059](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA24LA059), Dec 7, 2023: Cessna 172 (N906KS), Zephyrhills, FL, substantial damage. Probable cause: An aerodynamic stall from which the pilots did not recover while maneuvering in the airport traffic pattern.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
