## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT BEGAN TAKEOFF ROLL FROM RUNWAY 16 AT GCC, KEEPING SLIGHT BACKPRESSURE ON CONTROL STICK. (TO PREVENT NOSEWHEEL SHIMMY) SOMEWHERE AROUND 60 MPH THE AIRPLANE POPPED IN THE AIR BEFORE PILOT EXPECTED, BUT THEN DROPPED, BOUNCED, PILOT TRIED TO GENTLY LOWER NOSE TO GAIN SPEED AND EXPERIENCED SECOND BOUNCE. THIS BOUNCE DIDN'T GO AS HIGH AND IMMEDIATELY CAME DOWN WITH LEFT MAIN IN GRASS OFF OF RUNWAY. PILOT CHOPPED POWER AND APPLIED BRAKING. AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST OFF OF LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
