DEPARTED KSMO APPROXIMATELY 9:30 AM PST ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 26, 2023 WITH 3 PAX ON BOARD FOR 2 HOUR FLIGHT TO CA51. PER AIRSTRIP BRIEFING , APPROACHED UPWIND PARALLEL TO RUNWAY 30 TO THE WEST, OBSERVED THE WIND SOCK AND NOTED CALM WINDS, RUNWAY CLEAR OF OBSTRUCTIONS, SELECTED 10 DEGREES FLAPS, TURNED CROSS WIND OVER MIDFIELD, AND ENTERED RIGHT DOWNWIND FOR RUNWAY 30. IN DOWN WIND SELECTED LANDING GEAR SWITCH DOWN POSITION, STARTED DESCENT, SELECTED 20 DEGREES FLAPS, MADE BASE TURN, THEN FINAL, 30 DEGREES FLAPS, AND PROCEEDED TO LAND. LANDING GEAR DID NOT DEPLOY. MADE SOFT BELLY LANDING AND SLID TO A STOP ABOUT 3/4 DOWN THE RUNWAY. TURNED OFF POWER AND FUEL AND QUICKLY EVACUATED PASSENGERS. THERE WAS NO FIRE AND NO INJURIES. THE GEAR SWITCH WAS DOWN, BUT GEAR ACTUATOR CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS FOUND TO BE OPEN. A MECHANIC DID COME OUT AND THE ELECTRICAL FAULT THAT POPPED THE LANDING GEAR COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE LANDING GEAR WAS SWUNG NORMALLY AND IT WORKED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
