## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 01/10/2024 AT APPROXIMATELY 17:10 AN AIRCRAFT ATTEMPTING TO DEPART TULSA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (TUL) FROM RUNWAY 18R INADVERTENTLY RAN OFF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE CABIN ENTRY DOOR OPENED WHEN THE AIRCRAFT REACHED APPROXIMATELY 50-100 FOOT ABOVE GROUND LEVEL. THE PILOT DECIDED TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT TO SECURE THE DOOR. THE PILOT WAS UNABLE TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT WHICH LED TO THE AIRCRAFT RUNNING OFF OF RUNWAY 18R. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP IN THE GRASS AREA 105 FEET FROM THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED ON THE AIRCRAFT WHICH CAUSED THE PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE GROUND. ONE PERSON WAS ABOARD THE AIRCRAFT AND NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
