## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE ON A SHORT FINAL, PILOT ADVISED HE

LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRPLANE'S RUDDER, ELEVATOR, AND AILERONS. PILOT INDICATED HE WAS APPROXIMATELY 300

FEET OFF THE END OF RUNWAY #23 AND WAS TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH. PILOT DECIDED TO ATTEMPT TO

LAND THE AIRPLANE. PILOT ADVISED THE AIRPLANE CRASHED ONTO THE RUNWAY ON ITS LANDING GEAR. THE AIRPLANE

STAYED UPRIGHT AND STOPPED ON THE RUNWAY.

THE DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER WAS BECAUSE THE ENGINE STAYED ON DURING

THE LANDING OF THE AIRPLANE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
