## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE PERFORMING A 14 CFR PART §141 INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT, THE CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (CFI) WAS THE PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) OF THE AIRCRAFT DURING THE TENTH LANDING OF THE FLIGHT ON RUNWAY 36 AT THE PUTNAM COUNTY REGIONAL AIRPORT. THE CFI/PIC WAS DEMONSTRATING AIRCRAFT LANDING APPROACH ATTITUDE WHILE FLYING IN GROUND AFFECT DOWN THE LENGTH OF THE RUNWAY. THE CFI/PIC ATTEMPTED TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT WITH INSUFFICIENT REMAINING RUNWAY LENGTH. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO SLOW THE AIRCRAFT AS IT APPROACHED THE END OF THE RUNWAY, THE AIRCRAFT EXITED THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY IMPACTING MULTIPLE RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY LIGHTS. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP IN A FIELD APPROXIMATELY 300 FEET BEYOND THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND THE TWO OCCUPANTS WERE UNINJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
