## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS PRACTICING SHORT FIELD APPROACHES AND LANDINGS AT TX67 IN KEENE, TX. AIRFIELD 16/34 RUNWAY IS 1800’ IN LENGTH, WITH 50-60’ TREES WITH APPROXIMATELY 200-300’ OF THE APPROACH END ON RUNWAY 16. PILOT MADE SEVERAL APPROACHES FROM THE NORTH & SOUTH BEFORE ATTEMPTING A FULL STOP LANDING ON RUNWAY 16. AIRCRAFT LANDED JUST BEFORE MID-FIELD SHORTENING THE REMAINING/AVAILABLE RUNWAY LENGTH TO BRAKE AND STOP THE AIRCRAFT. SUBSEQUENTLY, THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE PAVED SURFACE OF THE DEPARTURE END THRESHOLD OF RUNWAY 16, PROCEEDED INTO THE GRASS AND STRUCK THE FENCING BEFORE COMING TO A STOP. THE LANDING SEQUENCY DAMAGED THE LEFT LOWER WING TIP AND COLLAPSED THE MAIN LANDING GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
