## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ATL-YYZ ON CLIMB FL100, CREW RECEIVED ELEVATOR SPLIT CAUTION MESSAGE. EMERGENCY CHECKLIST WAS ACTIONED, AUTOPILOT DISCONNECTED AND AIRSPEED REDUCED TO <200. FLIGHT CONTROL INDICATION WAS NORMAL, AND NO ABNORMAL HANDLING WAS NOTED. PANPAN WAS DECLARED AND UNEVENTFUL ABNORMAL LANDING PROCEDURE WAS CARRIED OUT.

AIRCRAFT FULL POWER DOWN COMPLETED BY MAINTENANCE TO RESET FLIGHT COMPUTERS WITH NO MESSAGES OCCURRING ON START UP. CREW CARRIED OUT DAILY FIRST FLIGHT OPS CHECKS, AND AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
