## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

SUBJECT AIRCRAFT WAS PERFORMING PATTERN WORK AND PREPARING FOR LANDING, THE SUBJECT AIRCRAFT WAS NOTIFIED BY ATC OF A BOEING 757 ON A 2.5 MILE FINAL APPROACH. VISUAL CONFIRMATION OF THE 757 WAS PROVIDED BY THE PILOT. FOLLOWING THIS, A WAKE TURBULENCE CAUTIONARY WAS COMMUNICATED BY ATC, TO WHICH AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT WAS GIVEN. WITH THE SUBJECT AIRCRAFT ON SHIRT FINAL, APPROXAMATELY 40 SECONDS AFTER THE^BOEING 757'S TOUCHDOWN, THE SUBJECT AIRCRAFT INITIATED A RIGHT ROLL THAT RESULTED IN GROUND IMPACT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR24LA085](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR24LA085), Feb 11, 2024: Evektor-Aerotechnik A S Harmony LSA (N377YG), Santa Ana, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: A loss of airplane control due to wake turbulence resulting from the instructor pilot’s decision to continue the landing into a drifting wake vortex.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
