## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE WEATHER REPORTED IN STL WAS LOW VISIBILITY AND SNOW FALL FOR MOST OF THE DAY, WHICH RESULTED IN A SNOWY AND SLUSHY CONDITIONS ON THE TAXIWAYS AND APRON. UPON SELECTING THE GEAR UP, THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED A MASTER CAUTION WARNING FOR “GEAR DISAGREE”. NOSE GEAR DID NOT INDICATE RETRACTED AND LOCKED.

CREW THEN ACTIONED THE QRH WHICH DID NOT RECTIFY THE ISSUE AND LED THE CREW TO DECLARE A PAN PAN AND RETURN TO STL. AFTER A SAFE LANDING, CREW WERE MET WITH EMERGENCY VEHICLES AND WERE ABLE TO TAXI TO THE GATE UNDER THE AIRCRAFTS OWN POWER.

•	MAINTENANCE INSPECTED; FOUND ICE AND SLUSH, LANDING GEAR THAWED OUT, AIRCRAFT WAS JACKED AND GEAR SWINGS CARRIED OUT. NO FAULTS FOUND. AIRCRAFT WAS CLEARED AND ISSUE WAS NOT REPLICATED

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
