## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

TOOK OFF FROM KSFB AT ABOUT 14:10 FROM RUNWAY 27C AND GOT HANDED OFF TO ORLANDO APPROACH. ABOUT 15NM SOUTH-WEST OF KSFB WE REQUESTED 7,000FT. CROSSING 5,000FT, WE HEARD A LOUD BANG AND TRIED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IT WAS. CLOSE INSPECTION OF THE WING IN THE AIR CONCLUDED THAT WE HAD A BIRD STRIKE. WE INFORMED ORLANDO APPROACH AND PROCEEDED TO TITUSVILLE AIRPORT (KTIX). THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED, DENT AND CRACK TO RIGHT WING LEADING EDGE DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
