## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEBRUARY 23, 2024, AT THE FOND DU LAC AIRPORT (FLD), THE INCIDENT AIRCRAFT LANDED IN THE GRASS ADJACENT TO THE RUNWAY 36, AFTER MAKING AN AVOIDANCE MANUEVER FOR PERCIEVED WILDLIFE ON THE RUNWAY. THE INCIDENT AIRCRAFT HIT SOFT GROUND WHICH FOLDED THE NOSE WHEEL BACK AND COLLAPSED THE LEFT MAIN GEAR AND DAMAGED THE PROPELLOR.

THE INCIDENT AIRCRAFT SUFFERED MINOR DAMAGE. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER AND LABRADOR DOG REPORTED NO INJURIES. VMC CONDITIONS WITH QUARTERING HEADWINDS AT 10 KNOTS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
