## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT PILOT RECEIVED SOLO ENDORSEMENT ON THE MAKE AND MODEL OF AIRCRAFT AFTER RECEIVING INSTRUCTION AND COMPLETEING THREE TOUCH AND GO AND PATTERN FLIGHTS. STUDENT PILOT BEGAN HIS FIRST SOLO IN MAKE AND MODEL AND BEGAN TO MAKE AN APPROACH TO DO A TOUCH AND GO. THE FLARE WAS EARLY AND RESULTED IN A HARD LANDING AND BOUNCE, THE PIC THEN OVERCORRECTED WITH A NOSE DOWN ADJUSTMENT AND BOUNCED AGAIN. THE PIC AT THIS POINT APPLIED FULL POWER THE NOSE PITCHED UP AND STALLED. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED ON THE NOSE GEAR SNAPPING OFF THE FRONT LANDING GEAR. THE LEFT-WING SUSTAINED DAMAGE AND PARTIAL SEPERATION FROM THE FUSELAGE AFTER CONTACT WITH THE GROUND AND A FUEL LEAK WAS THE RESULT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN24LA130](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN24LA130), Mar 4, 2024: Beech B19 (N1955W), Oklahoma City, OK, substantial damage. Probable cause: The student pilot’s improper landing flare, which resulted in a bounced landing, aerodynamic stall, and impact with the runway.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
