## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT PILOT AND CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (CFI) WERE PRACTICING CROSSWIND LANDINGS. AFTER SEVERAL LANDINGS AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL ADVISED THAT THE WINDS HAD INCREASED. WIND WAS REPORTED AS 18 GUSTING TO 30. THE DECISION WAS MADE TO A FINAL FULL STOP LANDING THEN TAXI BACK TO THE SCHOOL ENDING THE LESSON EARLY FOR THE DAY. AFTER LANDING THE STUDENT PILOT WAS TAXING BACK TO PARKING AND MADE A RIGHT ONTO A TAXI WAY. THE CFI STATED THE TAIL OF THE AIRCRAFT CAME UP RESULTING IN THE PROPELLER IMPACTING THE TAXI WAY. AT THIS TIME THE CFI TOOK OVER CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND CONTINUED TAXI TO PARKING. VIDEO OBTAINED FROM A NEARBY SECURITY CAMERA CONFIRMS THE STATEMENT FROM THE CFI.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
