## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

[NARRATIVE:]

ON MARCH 22, 2024, AT APPROXIMATELY 14:045 LOCAL TIME, A ROCKWELL COMMANDER 112A SINGLE-ENGINE PISTON-POWERED FIXED-WING AIRCRAFT, LANDED WITHOUT LANDING GEAR EXTENDED ON RUNWAY 18 AT FRENCH VALLEY AIRPORT (F70). THE AIRCRAFT WAS ON A PRIVATE OPERATION FOR THE ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ HIMSELF, WHO HAD DEPARTED FROM FULLERTON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (FUL), FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA.

THE AIRCRAFT COMPLETED A TOUCHDOWN BUT SUBSEQUENTLY UNDERWENT POST-GEAR UP TOUCHDOWN SKIDDING ALONG THE RUNWAY FOR A BRIEF DISTANCE BEFORE ACHIEVING A FULL STOP. THE INCIDENT RESULTED IN NO REPORTED INJURIES, FIRE, OR DAMAGE TO THE OCCUPANT, AIRCRAFT AND AIRPORT INFRASTRUCTURE. THE SOLE OCCUPANT, THE PILOT, WAS ABLE TO EGRESS THE AIRCRAFT BY HIMSELF.

CRUCIALLY, THE PROPELLER CONTACTED THE RUNWAY SURFACE DURING LANDING, POTENTIALLY CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE. NO MAJOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE ELSEWHERE ON THE AIRCRAFT DISCOVERED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
