## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING CLIMBOUT, THE PILOT OBSERVED AN INADEQUATE CLIMB RATE TO CLEAR THE OBSTACLES AT THE DEPARTURE END OF THE RUNWAY. HE ATTEMPTED TO LAND ON THE REMAINING RUNWAY, HOWEVER HE WAS UNABLE TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO OVER-RUNNING THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT TRAVELLED DOWN A STEEP EMBANKMENT AND CAME TO REST IN A POND. THE PILOT STATED THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT HAVE ANY MECHANICAL ISSUES AND FELT THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED DUE TO THE GUSTING WINDS.
