## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS ON FINAL FOR RUNWAY 30 TO KLAR, THE PLANE WAS CONFIGURED FOR LANDING, THE LANDING CHECKLIST COMPLETED, INCLUDING GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED. A CHALLENGER JET THEN CALLED ON CTAF THAT THEY WERE ON LEFT BASE FOR RUNWAY 03, THE CROSSING RUNWAY RELATIVE TO 30. PILOT ELECTED TO YIELD TO FASTER TRAFFIC, INITIATED A LEFT 360 DEGREE TURN TO ALLOW OTHER AIRCRAFT TIME TO LAND AND CLEAR THE RUNWAY. DURING 360-DEGREE TURN, PILOT ADDED POWER AND RAISED LANDING GEAR. AFTER THE CHALLENGER JET LANDED AND CLEARED THE RUNWAY, PILOT RESUMED HIS APPROACH, BUT FAILED TO RE-RUN THE LANDING CHECKLIST. FAA IIC CONDUCTED COUNSELING WITH PILOT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
