## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APRIL 6, 2024, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, A PIPER SEMINOLE OPERATING UNDER 14 CFR PART 61 INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT, STRUCK A TAXIWAY LIGHT WITH THE PROPELLER ON THE RIGHT ENGINE. THE AIRCRAFT WAS EXITING THE RUNWAY AT TAXIWAY B2.

THIS WAS A TRAINING FLIGHT WITH AN APPROPRIATELY RATED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR. THIS WAS THE STUDENT'S FIRST FLIGHT IN A MULTI ENGINE AIRCRAFT.

THE AIRCRAFT EXITED THE RUNWAY AT A HIGHER THAN NORMAL TAXI SPEED PER THE REQUEST OF THE TOWER CONTROLLER FOR LANDING TRAFFIC. THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR EXITED THE TAXIWAY AND ONTO GRASS. AT THAT TIME THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE TAXI LIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
