## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT REPORTED HAVING ISSUES WITH STATIC FROM THE RADIO IN THE LEFT SEAT, SO SHE DECIDED TO FLY FROM THE RIGHT SEAT INSTEAD. ON FINAL APPROACH SHE NOTICED THAT THE AIRSPEED WAS ONLY 60 MPH, WHICH FELT A LITTLE SLOW TO THE PILOT. SHE ADDED POWER WITH HER LEFT HAND, AND DIDN’T NOTICE THAT AS SHE DID THAT, HER RIGHT HAND PUSHED FORWARD ON THE YOKE PUSHING THE NOSE DOWN. TO COUNTERACT THE LAST IMPUTE, THE PILOT PULLED BACK ON THE YOKE A LITTLE TO HARD, AND SHE WAS WORRIED THAT SHE WAS ABOUT TO STALL, SO SHE PUSHED THE NOSE DOWN AGAIN, AT THIS POINT THERE WAS NO RECOVERING, WHICH LEAD TO THE HARD LANDING RESULTING IN THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPING OVER.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ANC24LA023](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ANC24LA023), Apr 8, 2024: Cessna 150L (N19390), Deer Park, WA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s improper landing flare which resulted in the airplane contacting the ground short of the runway.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
