ON 4/15/2024, THE PILOT-IN-COMMAND OF A CESSNA 172 WAS LANDING AT KSYI. THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO BOUNCE UPON LANDING AND DAMAGED THE FRONT NOSE GEAR SLIDING TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. ONCE THE NOSEGEAR REACHED THE EDGE OF THE PAVEMENT, THE GEAR LODGED INTO THE GROUND AND FLIPPED THE AIRPLANE OVER ONTO ITS BACK.
