## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS INBOUND INTO SWO, DURING THE FIRST ATTEMPT TO LAND THE PILOT HEAR STRANGE SOUNDS FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE AIRCRAFT AND DECIDED TO GO AROUND. WHILE GOING AROUND THE PILOT NOTICED THE LANDING GEAR FAILED TO FULLY EXTEND AND MANUALLY EXTENDED THE GEAR. ONCE THE GEAR WAS EXTENDED THE PILOT ASKED THE TOWER TO VERIFY THAT LANDING GEAR WAS DOWN. AFTER CONFERMATION FROM TOWER THE PILOT PROCEDED TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT. DURING THE PILOTS WALK AROUND THE PILOT NOTICED DAMAGE TO MAIN LANDING GEAR DOORS AND TO THE PROPELLER. 3 PASSENGERS WERE ON BOARD THE AIRCRAFT WITH NO INJURIES SUSTANIED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
