## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PIC WAS TAXIING TO RUNWAY 33 AT BTV FROM THE RAMP IN FRONT OF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. THE PIC WAS INTENDING TO TAXI VIA CHARLEY-GOLF-JULIET, BUT INADVERTENTLY TAXIED DOWN AN ACCESS ROAD. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO TRANSIT THE ACCESS ROAD, THE PIC CAUGHT HIS RIGHT WINGTIP ON A PERIMETER FENCE POST. THIS TURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO THE RIGHT INTO THE FENCE WHERE IT CAME TO A STOP WITHOUT INJURY. PIC SHUT DOWN THE PLANE AND EXITED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

AIRCRAFT INCURRED DAMAGE TO THE RIGHTHAND WING TIP, SPINNER AND PROPELLOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
