## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT DEPARTED RY 11 SE BOUND. PILOT REPORTED NEEDING TO RETURN "EMERGENTLY". AIRCRAFT WAS CLEARED TO LAND RY 11. PILOT STATED HE MAY NEED TO LAND ON RY 22. AIRCRAFT LANDED IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF RY 22 ON RY 04. UPON LANDING THE AIRCRAFT APPEARED TO BOUNCE CAUSING A PARTIAL GEAR COLLAPSE. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON THE LEFT EDGE OF RY 04. PILOT STATED THAT HE WAS UNINJURED AND EXITED THE AIRCRAFT.

DURING INTERVIEW WITH THE PILOT, HE STATED "I THOUGHT I HAD MOVED THE FUEL SELECTOR SWITCH TO THE MAIN TANK DURING PREFLIGHT. BUT AFTER I LANDED I NOTICED THAT I HAD LEFT THE FUEL SELECTOR SWITCH ON THE HEAD TANK WHICH PROPBALY ONLY HAD A GALLON OF FUEL IN IT". PILOT ALSO STATED THAT HE "DID NOT FINISH THE EMERGANCY CHECK LIST AND HE WAS LATE TO GET THE GEAR FULLY DOWN AND LOCKED".

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
