PIC WAS FLYING FROM COS TO THEIR PROPERTY FOR LANDING. IN AIRPLANE AVIONICS REPORTED WINDS WERE QUARTERING HEADWIND. DUE TO THE HIGH SINK RATE THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO DECEND AND HIT A FENCE CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE FUSALAGE, RIGHT SIDE STRUT, LANDING GEAR AND TAIL. PIC PULLED POWER BACK AND TURNED OFF THE ENGINE ONCE FULLY STOPPED AND EXITED.
