## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 05/28/2024 A PA32R AIRCRAFT LANDED AT THE RALEIGH DURHAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (RDU) ON RUNWAY 5R WITH THE NOSE WHEEL ONLY PARTIALLY DOWN AND LOCKED. THERE WERE NO REPORTED INJURIES. THE AIRCRAFT WAS OPERATED BY AN INSTRUMENT RATED PRIVATE PILOT, AND CARRYING THREE PASSENGERS AND FOUR DOGS. THE PILOT DIVERTED FROM HARNETT REGIONAL AIRPORT (KHRJ) TO RDU WHEN THE PILOT NOTICED THERE WERE NO GEAR INDICATOR LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND DID NOT FEEL THE GEAR DROP OR NOTICE A CHANGE IN PITCH OR AIRSPEED. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED ON 5R WITH MINOR DAMAGE AND NO REPORTED INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
