## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON TOUCHDOWN AT THE END OF AN AERIAL APPLICATION MISSION, THE AIRCRAFT’S TAILWHEEL LOCK DID NOT ENGAGE. THE AIRCRAFT BECAME ERRATIC DURING ROLLOUT. WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED, THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE RIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT EXITED THE RUNWAY AND IMPACTED THE BANK OF A DRAINAGE DITCH THAT PARALLELS THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT WAS UNINJURED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, ENGINE, LEFT WINGTIP FAIRING AND TAILWHEEL ASSEMBLY BUT DID NOT MEET THE THRESHOLD FOR SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
