## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING TAKEOFF ROLL, PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT RESULTING IN A GROUND LOOP CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT WING. PIC STATED THERE WERE NO MECHANICAL ISSUES AND THAT HE THOUGHT THAT THE WIND CONTRIBUTED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR24LA199](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR24LA199), Jun 13, 2024: Cessna A185E (N2768J), Nampa, ID, substantial damage. Probable cause: Loss of directional control during the takeoff roll.

## Other reports on N2768J (1)

- [Accident 19841003054479A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19841003054479A), Oct 3, 1984: Cessna A185E (N2768J), Morgan City, LA, Substantial damage. Landed on Pipeline Canal, float struck submerged object and dug into water. Airplane nosed over onto its back.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
