## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PA-28 AIRCRAFT WAS REPORTED TO BE 283 FEET BEHIND THE BD-700

AIRCRAFT. THE TWO AIRCRAFT WERE FACING AWAY FROM EACH OTHER. THE BD-700 AIRCRAFT AFFECTED THE PA-28 WITH JETBLAST DURING A SYSTEMS CHECK, CAUSING WRINKLES ON THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES AND DENTING IN THE AIRCRAFT SKIN. CHECKLISTS PROVIDED BY THE CREW OF THE BD-700 SHOW NO REASON TO INCREASE THRUST. GROUND IDLE POWER DANGER AREA DIAGRAM PROVIDED BY THE OPERATOR OF THE BD-700 SHOWS MINIMAL/NO DANGER BEYOND 275 FEET BEHIND THE AIRCRAFT. SECURITY VIDEO FOOTAGE SHOWS THE THRUST BEING INCREASED DURING WHAT APPEARS TO BE A SYSTEMS CHECK, THIS CAN BE SEEN DUE TO THE AIRCRAFT BETWEEN THE PA-28 AND BD-700 ROCKING SIGNIFICANTLY WHILE TIED DOWN. FIRST PILOT INFORMATION PROVIDED IS THE PIC OF THE PA-28 AIRCRAFT. THE SECOND PILOT IS THE PIC OF THE BD-700 AIRCRAFT. AIRCRAFT INFORMATION PROVIDED IS FOR THE PA-28 AIRCRAFT THAT SUSTAINED THE DAMAGE

## Other aircraft in the event

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
